I'd like to say that it would be lovely if I could use Hawaii, but
I'm a little embarassed to admit that I'm not certain how to use it.
Anyone that could enlighten me would be appreciated.  By the way, my
personal record at Bristol is 135.something...My setup was barely
drivable...I wouldn't want to run more than five or six laps with it
(just enough to heat up the tires and qualify).  It was REALLY
loose...Bristol is best driven with the left two wheels OFF of the
banking...it seems to hold you in place pretty well.  A lot of
NEGATIVE cross weight, and all of the weight in the back and on the
left side.  My setup also had all four gears within .80 of each
other, so that I could actually downshift to first down the
straights...had the effect of keeping 'er in the red the whole
time...But it shore kept the revs up coming out of the corners...

Believe me you'll be much to busy to down shift at the Bristol wreckfest.
You'll be avoiding guys coming of the corners sideways, and idiots that
can't even do a lap and wreck everyone.  But if you're one of the lucky
ones that get through all that, then it's fun.

I really liked racing at Bristol.   If you get with a group who take it slow
for a couple of laps just to be sure they can all make it around, it's a blast!

I think it's all in "who you race with".   With Bristol and human competition,
it's more "staying alive" than going fast.... which seems to take more talent.

Those of you who've done it.... Isn't it something?   Sure, nobody is turning
90+ MPH laps, maybe doing 70 or so, but everyone is RACING!   It does tend to
keep you from daydreaming!

Uh, we usually run somewhere around 130 at Bristol.
