With Falcon 4.0 under my tree I figured I had better get this figured out
real quick like or someone in my house is going to be a bit PO'ed come XMas
Morning and I can't play it. Up until recently I had a Saitek X36F HOTAS
and a Thrustmaster T2 wheel for controls. The shifter on my T2 no longer
downshifted, but it didn't matter as all I played was NASCAR. (Don't do
much downshifting there!) When Grand Prix Legends came out, I finally
broke down and bought a decent steering wheel, a NASCAR Pro by TM. I got
home, opened the box, read the instructions, (no, I really did) and
installed the wheel. Works perfectly. As expected. After about an hour of
getting blown off the track, I decided it was time to fly around a bit and
blow the ***out of something from my F-15. So, I hit the switch on my
Joyswitch, open the control panel and now my Saitek doesn't work. Then I
tried everything I could think of. Finally, I got to the point where I
disconnected the throttle from the stick and lo and behold the stick
calibrated!!! In the control panel, it shows the stick as OK until the
throttle is connected, then it shows as not connected. I went to the Saitek
site and there was something there about Pro Panel and the Saitek stick not
getting along. I uninstalled Pro Panel and still have the same problem. If
someone out there can help me, it would be greatly appreciated.
