wheel recommendations... pedalless

by Hamm » Sun, 23 Sep 2001 02:52:42

I have been using Thrustmaster GP1's for a long time.  I use them
because of the accelator/brake paddles on the wheel, as pedals cause
me difficulties.  I am mostly just a GP3 and GPL driver, although I
occasionally fire up N4.

My last GP1 wheel is about to wear out.  I don't want to use pedals.
Anyone have any pedalless wheel recommendations?  FF not required, but
would be welcome.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

The Thrustmaster "Ferrari" FF wheel comes with pedals, but they are
attached using a DIN style plug.  With the pedals disconnected the extra
set of analog paddles can be used for gas/brake.

It's split-axis with paddle-shifters and a sequential shifter.

Check out my setup: TV Tray Drivin' V2 -- shown with optional GPL USB
Shifter from Act-Labs.com :-)
