GPL at Coy's Silverstone!

Anybody going to the Coy's Historic festival at Silverstone tomorrow
(Sunday) should look out for a GPL demo in one of the pit garages. This is
on a large screen in front of which you sit in a full size mock-up of a
Lotus 49 chassis, complete with a DFV behind! It is free to have a go (I
think the company, Ballracing Developments, wants to encourage you to buy
its sim racing chassis and seat package), but the gear and brake help were
switched on. I'm sure they would be impressed with a good GPL driver having
a go 'cos everybody else was crashing in a 'drive a yard and crash', Shift
R, 'drive a yard and crash' scenario.

Sounds cool, but do you know if they will have that at the historic races
this august in Laguna Seca?  I'm going there (not for raceday, have to fly
back on the redeye to go to school the next day :(...).

It was good to see it but it was damn difficult to drive - autoshifting is
terrible, the screen was huge but dim - i got in 3 laps at monza, best was
1m40!!! But I did order an 11" red leather Mountney wheel for my F1 Sim to
make it more Lotus like!

Could be wrong, but can't see it turning up at Laguna Seca.
