Try hitting the cones at high speed.  I have seen them
slide upright down the racetrack for a long distance.
There are some cones at the lefthand bend approaching
turn 1 of the road course; I have hit these and seen them
sail all the way down the front stretch and into (or
maybe over) the crowd at the hairpin.

The barrels don't fly so good.

LOL. You're obviously not hitting them hard enough ;)

I came around the corner last night and there was one spinning in the middle
of the track.  The car ahead of me hit it, I guess.

I think most games quit tracking once the object car is out of site.  It was
kind of neat to see this :)

I also saw a car tumble last night.  I was beginning to wonder if it was
possible to flip them.  Now I know it is.

This may be silly, but I just love the fact that the trees sway in the
breeze.  Nice place for a picknick I think to myself, though I may be 1
sandwich short.  :)

I was going to mention that too :)

I don't believe I've ever seen that, at least in a racing game!

Yepp, but LFS ones looks better and more natural!.

Btw, i also noticed that the guys that stands next to the track at various
places are in 3d!, that must be a first time ive seen that in a racing game.
Ah.. just remember the marshalls in GP4.. they are 3d? or sprites?

I seem to remember trees gently swaying in NFS:Porsche Unleashed/2000
