Sounds like you need to loosen up the car a bit. Try one or all of the
following:
1. Reduce cross-weight
2. Increase rear bias
3. Soften RF shock
4. Loosen RR shock
FWIW, my tires at Martinsville usually run in the red (250-260 degrees with
temp at 87 degrees). The important thing is to get a neutral setup that
doesn't fry the RF tire, but also let's you get off the corner without
getting loose. I can run 98-99 MPH laps for about 40-50 laps before the
speed starts dropping off.
