Just got my new PC today. It's 200mhz Pentium with 48mb ram, 8x CD-rom and
a ATI 3D XPRESSION 2mb Videocard.

My question is;   will I be able to run Indycar 2 and Nascar 2 in RENDITION
versions ???

Please reply, telling me where to get the stuff I need for rendition.

OTOH, JIM; when will you guys make a Le Mans or IMSA WSC sim. (just
applying some pressure ! :-)

No, your card does not have a Rendition Verite chip on it, (your board
has a Rage II chipset) so it won't run the Rendition version of the
game.

To answer your second question (in a round-about way), the current
vendors of Rendition-based video cards are Intergraph, Canopolis
(sp?), Creative (3D Blaster-PCI only), and Sierra.

Nope.  You need a video card that uses the Rendition Verite chip.
These currently include Creative's 3D Blaster, Canopus' Total3D,
Intergraph's Intense3D 100, and Sierra's Screamin'3D.

Actualy he said he had a RageIII chipset by ATI which is not the same
as S3's Virge.  While both pretty much suck in terms of 3D, they are
different chips.
