rl>controller card? I have a soundblaster 16 (so, it's old. it still
rl>works). Thrustmaster suggested their card (imagine that ) on the web
rl>page with the T1. I'm just looking for some information. $180 is
rl>quite a bit of money for a controller that I haven't even used.
Well I would sorta expect them to suggest their card on their web page? <G>
I have the T1, and love it. It really, really, really adds enjoyment to any
driving sim. Well worth the money. (IMHO) I believe there are also some
better combos on the market, but I have no experience with them.
As for a dedicated game card, they are almost a prerequisite if you have a
fast 486 or Pentium. I have a Gravis Eliminator that's been working well,
altho it is sorta old. It has the speed control on a cord, which I like.
I think the newer TM cards have that as well too.
Good luck,
Andy
