Hi
Basically, when you zoom into the .bmp with a graphics program (PSP
works OK as does Photoshop etc.) At 16x zoom, you will see one black
strip. This, as mentioned in the readme file, represents the colours for
all the teams. This strip is composed of 3x14 pixels. Each team (in the
order discussed in the manual)represents one row. Each column represents
the portion painted. (1st column is***pit, 2nd is the mirrors, 3rd
wing...something like that - check readme)
Using the finest `brush' possible, you can paint each pixel the colour
you want. A big problem here is that you will have to use the darkest
shade of whatever colour you want, or else the***pit colours will look
very ... psychedelic .. in the game. ie. the Ferrari will require a dary
scarlet shade. Mclarens required a gray colour etc.
Then, you run the .exe file (after removing the f1gstate.sav file). If
all is well, it will say `done !' You can then restart GP2 (without the
.sav file, please)and hopefully enjoy the new***pits. And partner
Schumi in a RED Ferrari***pit ;-)
If you have any problems, let me know and I'll e-mail you my finished
.bmp file. I had BIG problems with getting the right Jordan colour (it
was either shit or green... no gold) so it was left black (just like
this year's anyway.
Cheers
