LWFF freaking out, help!

My brakes seem to slam on all by themselves, this really sucks for online
racing, and hotlapping.
When I calibrate in GPL i noticed that the *brake* axis spikes up sometimes
as i push and lift on the accelerator. thats kinda how it happens when i'm
driving, too.
What does this mean, and can I fix it?

answered my own question didn't i?
sheesh.
replaced pot on accelerator (pirated one from my old CH pedals)....problem
solved!
