I Have A Question for all you experts out there

I have a P-133, 80mb ram, Thriller 3d 8mb pci, 3 hardrives, Win98, 24X CD-rom,
33.6 modem, $5 gamepad, SB 16,

I currently have the full version of ICR2 (running in rendition mode)
I have the demos of:::   N2, Jonny Hubert F1, Microprose GP1 (World Circuit),
CPR, and GPL......
The N2 demo works pretty well on my PC, and I was considering buy N99. The JHGP
works ok. Can any one tell me if its worth buying? I saw the Microprose Worl
Circuit at Comp USA for $10. Is it worth buying? I can't find GP2 anywhere! Any
suggestions? The CPR demo runs terribly. And as for the GPL demo, I installed
it, but every time I load it, it freezes in the main menu. Any suggestions?

Now I know everybody is going to say, UPGRADE!!!!!!!!!!1
But that simply isn't possible now as I am flat broke.
I will be getting a brand new CPU before I ship off to college in August.
Are there any CHEAP upgrades that could possibly help my CPU's performance?
Thanx

Ok now before i say anything im not an expert but i know a good bit about
computers.

All i can suggest is maybe some more ram.  Even another 12 meg would help a
little.

Only other thing is CPU but that in no way is a cheap fix.  If your getting a
new computer DO NOT upgrade your CPU.  It would be money down the drain.

I would slap in the fastest cpu I could get for that board, you can get a
233 for around $100.  Also, go get World Circuit, for $10 it's worth it.
Its kinda raw, by todays standards, but I still drive it.  I love the
racing, and  the car sounds cool.
Get a job for a weekend and go by a new cpu.

The only thing that memory will help with is that you can save longer
replay.  I know that you don't want to hear this, but the biggest
thing that you can do is get a knew cpu.  I just replace my mother
board and got a K6-2 350, and kept everything else but my case.  I
went from a Cyrix 150, it mad a world of differance.  This cost me
$450.00.  Much cheaper than a new computer.  Your cpu has the most
effect on how your game runs.

Yes, no upgrades, but it is worth it.
Get an Abit BH6 mobo for $80 and a Celeron 300a for another $80... If you
want to overclock it to 450 then get 64 MB of PC100 ram and you are looking
at $300 for a full system upgrade. Thats just a little over a weeks work.
Definately worth it dude.

He would most likely need a new case too.

With your Thriller, you might want to try the demo for SODA Off Road Racing
(download available at http://www.racesimcentral.net/), which
supported Rendition 3D H/W acceleration.

It wasn't a huge commercial success for Sierra and a planned 3Dfx patch was
canceled.  I run it with software 3D and have been tempted more than a few
times to get a Rendition card just for SODA.

If you like it, it should be pretty cheap by now.  There's a track editor
and many add-on tracks available on the net at these sites:

Thanx man. I will definately try the demo. It sounds good so far. I'm surprised
that a Sierra/Papy title didn't sell well. Oh well.
