I'm trying to make my own steering wheel for GP2.
I use the F1GP 1 to test it.
I use 100K pot for steering, 50k accelerator, 50k brakes, 2 buttons for
shifting.
I put it together, but its not working like it should.
The steering is OK, but the other two pots dont work, so I cannot
calibrate it for testing.
What's wrong?

I wired these:

 G1,G2,... means gameport pins

G1 - 100k pot - G3
G6 - 50k - 50k - G1
G2 - button - G1
G7 - button - G1

Do I need to connect something to thr ground G4 or G5?

Please help, I'm stuck.

Look at http://www.oz.net/~wottenad/wheel.htm for complete directions.  I
know they work because I drive with a homemade wheel.

The buttons are wired wrong. Using your notation, they should be:
G2 - button -G4
G7 - button - G4
Also the 50k pots should be connected in series and "inversely" to each
other...

Use 200k pot u'll have more precision.
