F1GP over the net?

Hi,
        Is it possible to use the nul-modem simulator program to play
F1GP over the Internet.  I saw it mentioned in the Doom FAQ and it seems
that there is no reason for it not to work!  Anyone tried this or want to
give it a shot, UK preferabbly.
