SCGT times at Lime Rock

That brings back some memories of how good GT racing was in the mid 80's to
early 90's.. That was John Morton driving the Electromotive Nissan
300ZXTT-GTP car. He was making a lap during practice, went up no name turned
the corner, went up hill and WHOOOSH! The front end lifted with no warning
like some of the Top Fuel cars do.. Before you couldn't count to 4 he was in
mid-air... John was okay and walked from the car simliar to Yanick's crash
at Petit Le Mans last year... The driver line up for that year was if I
remember -

John Morton and Jeff Brabbam - In one car I think #33

Derek Daly and ? in the second 300ZX

Hmm I wonder if can make car sets for SCGT? Imagine, GTP and LMP cars from
'84-'93!, Zakspeed/Roush Mustang GT (remember Kevin Cogan drove that car for
awhile..) Bobby Rahal's Mustang/Probe GTP that won it's first race out. That
was one of the first front engine protype race cars... Hmm I think I know
where Don Panoz got that idea from..  Klaus Ludwig's mid-engine
Mustang/Probe GTP car was the second car, and it only won one race in it's
lifetime also..  Yeah bring back some of the older IMSA and Le Mans cars,
that would be great! If you have any questions about sportscar racing from
back then, let me know I can answer most of those I think..=) One last thing
somebody make a REAL Can Am car set! You know Alum. big block Chevy powerd
Shadows...!
