RC2000 (Rally Championship/Mobil 1/whatever) is a superb game.
I suspect you tried the demo, which is nothing like as good as the
real thing. Get the full version (not from warez, oh dear me no...),
bolt on a wheel & pedals, put the game on Championship mode, and
drive in a good car (eg the SEAT). Now try telling me it's arcadey.

>David - are you saying that the warez version isn't that good, or

I was being somewhat facetious... I happen to have an EB within easy
reach, and more and more shops in the UK are adopting the no-fuss
returns policy they started, so there's less and less excuse for using
warez in Britain. I've backtracked slightly on my line since I found
out the poor state of guarantees elsewhere, and I suppose I can't
*really* complain too much. As long as you either delete or buy
straight away. But if you have an EB (they have websites, you know),
then there's no excuse.

It's true that the big chains (except EB) are hopeless in this regard. I've had
a bit of success with Game (which I think is now owned by EB anyway), but
mostly I've stuck to small independent shops. They're a little bit more
expensive, but the service is generally much better. (If you're anywhere near
Worcester, try "Format" in the Lychgate Centre, who are excellent).
