IRC2 changing car sets

IRC2 changing car sets

I have downloaded the F1 96 car sets from the UK Pitts webb page. When
I try to change the car sets from with in the game a message "Error
loading file" comes up I stay with the indy car set and when I restart
the game it will not run a bad file or file open error appears.

any one any ideas

Is the directory the car files are in named the same as the .dat file, if
not I don't think it will load.

The directory name must be exactly the same as the .dat file name.
Also, by deleting GAMEOPTS.CFG the game will reload again without
re-installing.
