Help with IPX Network

Maybe someone can shed alittle light here.  Background : I've created
a cheap IPX network by using SN2000 lan cards and immulation software.
So when I go into muliplayer mode N2 doesn't find my cards.  I get
the error "Can't initialize IPX Card".

So if anyone has had success in doing this would you please share
it with me, thanks

One of two things, either you've modified your entry lists in a way
that our program chokes on (and reports that as an error message, when
it really means to report another error message), or more likely that
you haven't loaded DOS IPX drivers for your card. (Generally the
"Novell" drivers that (hopefully) came with your card will work. If
not, or if you didn't get them with the card, contact the card
manufacturer (or their web site) to download the drivers. If the card
company is out of business, you may be able to find alternate drivers
that work, as most of the card chipsets are the same (or close
enough))

Assuming you have the drivers configured properly, the best bet is that the
MULTI.LST file either doesn't exist or has cars in it that don't exist
(maybe you installed Chris Frederick's carset). If you go into the Driver
Info screen and get an error loading MULTI or MULTI isn't there, that's
your problem.

It's option one - the entry list because I got the same error but when I
changed my entry list back to the default one the error went away and I
was able to play across the network.

You might find some pointers on my Network Q RAC Rally FAQ that contains
info on setting up a *** IPX network.
