Let me get this right is GTR2002 a free mod for F12002?
If so why is it so difficult to get from a straightforward download in
English, without having to register for endless spam.....GRRRRRRR

It's not difficult. Just time consuming. So many people have dloaded
the mod it has overwhelmed SEVERAL different downloading systems. It WAS
available, just as you described, in English without registration early in
the process. Why didn't you get it then before the crush hit? :) Still if
you don't think you are getting your money's worth.. :)
There has been ONE poster so far that was completely disappointed with
the mod. Although he hasn't said what it was that he didn't like.
All these other sites, these strange languages, these wierd registration
demands, those have been attempts by WELL-MEANING-WORLD-WIDE-Users to take
some of the load off of Blackhole Motorsports and RacesimCentral. While
some are indeed odd or downright confusing, they too are not charging
anything for their time and equiptment costs.
Just remember tho...while you are here moaning about having to type a few
lines of info, others are out there learning the new tracks and tweeking
setups and setting hotlap times and running online

Ah well, I'm happy with waiting until traffic slows down. I never had it a
few weeks ago, so I can go a few more with out it. It's not like it's
costing me mone y:)
