Seems to ba a bit of NFS:PU wrapped up in the PS2 version of F355.  The
best news is that it will support the Logitech G-Force wheel.  My Momo
arrives tomorrow, I hope it works with that as well.

Ferrari F355 Details
News and notes on what Sega will add to the PS2 version of this driving sim.

July 08, 2002 - Though it's not hard to guess the gist of how Ferrari
F355 Challenge will play on PlayStation 2 -- just have a go with the
Dreamcast or arcade versions -- Sega has released a few new details
concerning extra features that will appear in the PS2 port of AM2's
racing simulator, due for release in Japan September 26. The pertinent
points are as follows:

     * Great Driver Challenge: An ostentatiously-entitled mode that,
well, challenges you to Drive Greatly. Success in this mode requires
smooth and speedy driving with absolutely no contact with the walls or
other cars. Sure, you can win, but can you win in proper gentlemanly
fashion?
     * Ferrari Special Movie: In the extras section, there's a category
with notable images and movies from Ferrari history. These can be
unlocked by fulfilling various conditions in other game modes.
     * Full Replay: The replay mode is bereft of some of the limitations
that appeared in the Dreamcast version, so players can now watch the
entire replay of a single race at once.
     * GT-Force Support: The PS2 version will support Logitech's
GT-Force USB force-feedback steering wheel.
     * Objective View: Sega's description of this new view mode is
somewhat unclear, but it sounds like it might be a top-down view of the
whole track, a la Super Sprint. We'll believe it when we see it, though.

Look forward to further Ferrari updates when Sega is kind enough to
deliver us a playable version of the game.
