Hi, Robert --

I noticed in your other post that you have a K6 200.  THAT'S going to be a
problem.  You really are going to need a faster processor (300+ on the low
end, 450 up is preferable) to get serious about racing either AI or real
live opponents.  Sorry about the cold water.

Are there any differences at all between
the US and UK version of GPL ,except that you have
to use other versions of the two patches?
Won't there be ANY problems with racing online,third-party add-ons etc?

I haven't seen the British version but perhaps the main difference is
in the menu's.  GPL UK uses English.  GPL US has 'merican menus.

I have the UK version and every patch works so far. Also VROC works
without problems. The only problem I encoutered was when I installed
W98  and needed to reinstall GPL. Somehow the install kicked me out
telling me I didn't have the original CD! Sierra tech support thought it
might have something to with language settings (I'm dutch), but were
never able to resolve it. The solution I found was to install it in W95
and then "upgrade" to W98.

But in short... it's a definate MUST BUY!

<Cut:---regarding win95/98>
thank you for the feedback.

Hehehehe... I know,I know,I know.....there isn't much doubt
about that after having run the demo and read this newsgroup for
 a while :-)))
