simbin.com setup section ... RIP?

by Uwe Schuerkam » Thu, 22 Aug 2002 02:12:07

Hi folks,

I've been looking around on google for good f1-2002 setups, but
the #1 source (simbin.com) appears to have added the last setup
in March 2002. Is this section of the site deceased or is it
just pining for the fjords?

I find it really strange that so few of the f1sim fansites out
there carry f1 2002 setups.

Cheers & thanks in advance for any pointers,

Uwe

I was looking for setups too since I suck at setting up cars.
Simbin's probably really busy with their GT MOD.  I got most of my
setups from teamredline.

Thanks! I downloaded and checked the Spa setups last night. I
don't even manage an out-lap using these without crashing 8-(

I fiddled around a bit with the default "Belgium" setup,
lowering the wings a wee bit and softening the ARB's, but I
find it incredibly difficult to keep the car on the road. So
far I have only managed a "best" of 1m53s99x which is over ten
seconds slower than those hotlappers achieve with their setups.

What's the secret with F1 2002? Help ;-)

cheers,

uwe
