Does anyone know if someone has done a patch/add-on for GPL that changes
the starters flags? If I recall correctly from research back in those
days races were started not with a green flag, but that country's
national flag. Can this even be fixed without changing the marshalls'
green flags (or other flags for that matter)

Try doing a search of the RaceSimCentral forum... I seem to remember someone
was messing around with the flagman graphics.

What's more, in the German GP the race was not started by the dropping of
the flag, but by *raising* it.
