will there be a 3dfx patch for GP2 anytime soon? The game is so
demanding that making one would be common sense.

I posted a complaint about GP2 not supporting 3D accelerators last week
and got mocked and made fun of. I, as you do, felt that this was a
legitimate request. Glad I'm in company now. Come on Microprose...

From what i have heard it sounds like microprose has pretty much abandoned
the game.
I don't know of any patches of any kind being developed.

Im with you on that one Rick!
Its such a shame that this game isnt even installed on my HD
anymore. However IF this patch does see the light of day I will be first in
the queue at the FTP site ;).

Well put Don. GP2 is a dead game that had tons of potential. We may
gripe about Papyrus/Sierra but they obviously listen and care about
their product (OK, Papyrus anyway) Ol' MPS is headed for Chp. 11.
***'em, the sooner, the better. Maybe Papy can recruit Crammond.
Though I admit I am terribly pissed off and want to see a _perfect_ :)
F1 sim, let's be fair: there were 2 patches for GPM1 (I'm not saying
they helped, but some after-release work has been done:) and some
patches for Civ2.
Sincerely, Karim

My ISP loses them less often :(
BTW does anyone have any stats as to sales figures: what sold better,
ICR2 or GP2 ? (I guess it's too early to ask about N2)

Then you haven't heard of the Next Papy project??? Historical F1
racing, circa 1960's.. You know skinny tires, no wings, how will we ever
stay on the road??
