What I do is to export the car that I want to replace, then exit to DOS
and look
at the name of the .PCX file in the NASCAR directory. I then rename the .
pcx
file of the new car to that of the old car, then go back into paintkit
and import
it.

I have some .pcx files that I got off the news group that I would like
to put in a car set. How do I do it? The import in paintkit doesn't

The file name for the "slot" you're importing to is specific for each
slot. Here's a listing of (for the original car set) the "slots" and
the associated file name.....

The .pcx file has to be in the main nascar directory
(eg. c:\games\nascar\) and renamed to nasc94.pcx if you want to
replace the default player car. For other cars, try exporting their
files and note the new file names which appear in the main nascar
directory.
