Mustangs in 1/43 scale

About 15 years ago, I was in a local Mustang owners club, and at that
time there were a couple of manufacturers producing 1/43 scale diecast
Mustangs of all vintages.  At the time, I wasn't interested in these, but
now that I've started collecting diecasts, I am looking for a source for
these cars.  The same companies also made GM and Chrysler products of
hsitorical significance, also in 1/43 scale.

If anybody has any info, I'd appreciate knowing about it.

Thanks in advance.

Fastback 390 4 spd forever. It doesn't have to be 1:43 scale though it can be
1:24 or 1:64 for me.

I haven't seen anything on regular mustangs, but there's a lot of Shelby
stuff available in 1/18 and I believe 1/24.  ERTL appears to be the
primary manufacturer in those scales.

For more Ford-specific stuff (Cobras, Daytona Coupes, GT40's, and
Shelbys) in larger scales than what I'm looking for, go here:

   http://www.cobracountry.com/CCMktplace.html

and for LOTS of different stuff in lots of different scales, go here:

   http://ew1.com/w/ewamod

This is all I've really been able to find so far.

You may want to check out your local IMPS chapter (International
Plastic Modeler's Society) for info on rare, or hard to find models
(any scale)...I seem to recall that Monogram made an '86 GT, but no
one has made a '67 AFAIK (a '68 fastback was once available from
AMT(?), but may have been generic, rather than a true GTA or other
hi-po type).

Sorry, I don't have a link to the IMPS site.  =(

Cheers!

Marc

I have an 86 Mustang GT 1:1 scale. 100k miles, runs great, sunroof, CD, Black,
need a little body work, $1500. (Typical Mustang hatch problems)
