Everytime I install a newer game, the Indeo drivers are updated
automatically and F1rs won't start up anymore : says No Indeo VFW and No
hardware.....??? I have a Pentium II 400 with A matrox millenium card and a
VooDoo II card from Creative. Anyone has a solution?

Thanks, Jan Willem

I've had the same problem each time after I had installed CPR, F1RS would no
longer find the Indeo so I had to install the org. Indeo from the CD.
There's no other solution as fas a I know.

Having just had the same problem with Half-life, I installed , Dx 6.1, DX
Media, Intel Codecs all to no avail :-(  I then, in Control Panel, add/remove
programs, Windows Setup, I un-installed the audio and video codecs, rebooted
and then installed the codecs from control panel .... End of problem:-)

Hope it works for you

If you have a 3dfx card, indeo will***up after you
install another game I guess. What helped me was to start
the .exe from the game folder called f1rsvoo, or something
similar. I hope that will work for you. Please note that the
start menu shortcut doesn't point to that, so you have to
start it from win explorer for instance.
