1. Preample
1.1. Entrants must use Formula 1 Grand Prix (AKA World Circuit) by
Microprose. No other simulator may be used.

1.2. There are 9 classes into which entries may be submitted; entries
in certain classes are automatically also entered in other classes.
1.3. Entries must be submitted directly to the director; entries
posted to a public forum such as USENET will not be counted.

2. Basic regulations. Unless otherwise stated, the following
regulations govern all entries.
2.1. The lap must have been run in a 100% distance race, in either a
championship season or a non-championship race.
2.2. The human horsepower setting must be the default 716.
2.3. Cutting through chicanes and other track features is not
permitted, whether by accident or on purpose.
2.4. Slipstreaming (drafting) other cars is permitted.
2.5. The tyre compound used must be A, B, C, or D.
2.6. There are no setup restrictions.
2.7. Auto-breaking and auto-gear shifting are permitted but are not
required.
3. Entry classes
3.1. Standard
3.1.1. S-R (Standard Race).
3.1.2. S-Q (Standard Qualifying): Q compound tyres must be used.
[Laps may be set during qualifying or practice sessions.]
3.1.3. S-P (Standard Practice): laps must be set during free or pre-race
practice periods.
[Q compund tyres are not permitted.]
3.2. Unrestricted
Cutting across chicanes and other corners is permitted; there are no
restirctions on the human horsepower setting.
3.2.1. U-R (Unrestricted Race).
3.2.2. U-Q (Unrestricted Qualifying): Q compound tyres must be used.
[Laps may be set during qualifying or practice sessions.]
3.2.3. U-P (Unrestricted Practice): laps must be set during free or
pre-race practice.
3.3. Miscellaneous
3.3.1. QR (Quick Race): laps must be run in a 100% distance quick race.
[Auto-gears are permitted but not required.]
3.3.2. N (Novice): auto-breaking is required.
[Maybe there should be setup restrictions.]
3.3.3. W (Wet Race): laps must be set during a 100% distance race in
wet conditions, using W compound tyres.
