  Hello one and all!

This post is just a few thoughts which I have had about the excellent game,
Microprose F1GP.

I only got it to work last weekend after much consultation with Microprose.
I have an Escom DX2-66 (I don't think this brand is available in US), and was
experiencing a problem whereby when I tried to run F1GP the colours were
quite seriously messed up.  Microprose investigated this but found no
problems with my system spec.  I re-approached Escom about it, and swapping
the original Avance Logic 1Mb graphics card for an ATI Mach32 card seems
to have fixed the problem.  So, the m***of that tale is that if you have
the same problem then approach Escom and try a different graphics card.

well into the game again.  Having been reading this newsgroup for the past
couple of weeks, I saw the stuff about Imola fastest times.  Now I read the
"challenge" post and am intrigued - what one earth is GPLAP ? also what are
GPed / F1ed ??  I have never heard of these, but they sound quite useful,
if someone could tell me where to get them on ftp?

Also, I need some stuff on optimal setups. I'm having a championship with
2 friends (on multiplayer - please give us network in F1GP2!) and I am
winning but only just. So I want some amazing setups to just leave them for
dead! I would appreciate some advice on this.

I think thats about all - except can someone mail any existing www/ftp type
places for stuff regarding F1GP? Aren't we very close to 1995 driver patch?

I nearly forgot, when I was in contact with Microprose (UK) they told me that
there <is> : " a car simulation game due for release in the summer of 1995,
but unfortunately no details are available at the moment" - and thats the
<official> word from the man himself!

  Thanks alot in advance!
