MGPRS-2: Why is the start so .. quiete??

by Fuji Sarton » Wed, 14 Apr 1999 04:00:00

Hi ..

Love this game but at the start of every race, the cars don't seem to be
anxiously revving their engines in anticipation for the green light.

Is there a patch to fix this ??

Thanks.

THERE IS LOT OF SOUNDS IN http://www.mgprs2.com/download.htm
I USE FERRARI -66 SOUND (incar and extrernal), AND THAT IS SOMETHING!!
BUT IF YOU WANT AT CARS MAKE MORE NOISE BEFORE START, COMPUCAR DONT DO IT,
BUT IN "GAME SERVICE" WITH HUMAN PLAYERS THERE IS LOT OF ENGINE SCREAMING
BEFORE START..:)

This game is the second version of F1RS and it still has a lot of problems even with the patches that have come out. The sound has
had a lot of problems and patch 106 fixed some of them but with my SBL sound card there is still no sound in the replays. The patch
also makes the Wave  volume control of W95/8 get turned way down when the game starts and I have to press the Windows key on the
keyboard to get back to the volume settings and turn it back up. You can download some different engine sounds, new car graphics,
and there is a new performance editor to change the cars power at http://www.mgprs2.com/
I dont think there is a patch to make the other cars rev their engine.
