ICCCARS has some of the '80s cars at their site. Haven't seen them yet,
though.

Superbikes?? Nope, NASCAR. The mid '80's Buick Regal was a
*** force. The Oldsmobile Cutlass was an interesting lookin
bird too. How 'bout that damn Pontiac LeMans Bobby Allison took
to Daytona in about 81 or 82... great car, had everyone off
balance as no one else drove that body. The car was hidden and a
complete secret until speedweeks started that year. Not even the
press had a clue he was bringing a LeMans. He nearly won, but
for a breakdown. Awesome, those days.

Yes, those were the good old days, Waltrip in that damn Mountain
Dew Buick Regal - I hated that guy then :). The old big "square
box" Thunderbird, areodynamic as a brick... Neil Bonnet used to
horse that big old aircraft carrier around like it was a
volkswagen beatle.... those were the best days of NASCAR!!

There's a 80's style body patch out for N2 as well as lots of cars from the
80's.

I think what you're looking for is at www.theuspits.com in the stockcar
section. There is an 80's body style for N2, as well as templates. Great
patch!

Isn't it funny how that worked out?

A lot of people hated him back then, but today he is very popular.

IMHO, he's the most 'comical' and interesting racer on the circuit.
Earnhardt has his moments, but overall he's been too pissed off lately
:)
