I don't buy it.  Sounds like you exaggerated just a wee bit on the original
post and just made all this up to try to cover up for it.  V1.2 is just not
going to do it.

Cover up for what?  I asked for the restritor plate info to play with it for
fun and learn about the game.  Nothing hidden there.....

Whether you buy it or not, I did it exactly as described.  V1.2 WILL turn a
200+ MPH lap if you drive the track right.  I've done it.

There IS a simple solution which will answer definitively and put
an end to this thread.  Run a 200+lap, save the replay, zip it
and post it.  Zipped replays are small and wouldn't take much room
(about 8k) or could be e-mailed to doubters.  With the integrated
time-stamp, it would be easy to verify the speed.
