I may be wrong but I believe that "Motor Sport" magazine has a new subscription
service available for the U.S.  I received my first issue (12/99) today after
subscribing about 4 weeks ago.  If you don't have access to the order forms
from the mag itself, You can call 1-800-272-2670 and subscribe for $59.40/12
issues.  WARNING!  Your motorsport reading habits may be permanently altered
after one or two sittings with this fine UK publication.  U.S. racing  journals
will seem like ca-ca after "Motor Sport".  GPL fans can find reference material
nearly every month (Dec cover: Damon Hill and in foreground his dad in a Gold
Leaf Lotus).  Drivers, cars, races and tracks from the beginning until today.
Worth the $$ and if you don't live in a metro area with at least a pretense of
sophistication, you're not gonna find this for sale anywhere.  You already
missed the interview of Sir Jack and what he thought of J Clark (!!), the
LeMans track test of the race-wining D-Type and Silk Cut Jags, and the visit to
the banking at today's Monza.  You  poor slobs

A subscription has been on my Christmas list, and enough hints have been
dropped, that hopefully I'll start to see it in the mail soon!

Agreed, it's one of the best mag's out there, Autosport is even better, also
from Haymarket publishing from the UK, but Autosport is like $110 for 6
months!!!! Ouch!!! It's a weekly however, but still, man that's expensive!

"Motor Sport" is available in Canadian Chapters stores, btw.
It's expensive-- not sure of the exact price, but I think it was about
$8-$10.
It's not cheap in the U.K. anyway, 3.50 a copy, so that price is about
right.

That $60US/12 issues deal sounds very attractive, btw!
