I do have a question though, for anyone who might know. In this picture of
Jackie Stewart at the Ring in 1968, what must be the mountings for the rear
wing are visible on the car but there's no wing attached. Anyone happen to
know what the explanation is? Was it removed before the race, and if so why
weren't the mounts removed as well? Was it due to an on-track failure?
Just curious.
