Live 2002 - F12002 Competition

I visited the Stuff Live 2002 exhibition in Earls Court today. One of
the stalls was run by the Jordan race team, and they were running a
copy of F1 2002 for people to try, by climbing in to an F1 car and
using the Microsoft FF wheel.

I took my first race, at Silverstone, early in the afternoon, and I
finished in first place, clocking in the fastest time of the day. I
checked back every once in a while, and just before the stall closed,
with only two people allowed to play, I was still fastest and would
win the competition. Bonus!

Or so I thought, until the person before last jumped in and beat my
time by a third of a second!

To be honest, I'm not feeling too sore, because watching him race it
was clear he had spent as much time practising as I have. But it still
would have been fun to win.

I'm just wondering if that person uses this newsgroup, because I'd
like to congratulate him!

Well done! Grrrrr!!!
