T2 ?

Before I open my T2 wheel maybe someone can give me some advice.
Its about 2 years old and never given me a problem before.
When going down a straight away if I turn left and let go it goes back
to center, when I turn right however it does not return to center. I
have to turn the wheel to the left to get it straight. Is that a bungi
cord maybe and if so can it be repaired. I cant really afford to by a
new one right now. This happens in turns as well. Its not calabrating
the way it should either.
Any help would be much apprecated. Thank you, Doug D

According to my opinion this can be repaired easily.
Just shake your T2 and you will hear the sound that something
is loose. The bunge cord is stretched by two (don't know the english
word) things to each direction. Just attach the left one again (which
is used for moving back left) and you're finished.
Although you're cord not seems to be broken, you should think
of exchanging it, because a new one enhances the feel of the
T2 very much.

Same problem?
If not, the pot may be bad, just contact thrustmaster.

hope that helps,

Just a followup to Joachim's reply.  Do contact Thrustmaster and ask for
a new bugie chord and steering pot.  They should send you these for
free, they also offer a complete "rebuild kit" (though there is probably
a miminal charge for this).

In the meantime, get some tuner/switch cleaner&lubricant at a
electronics supply store and spray it inside the steering wheel pot.
Work it around and this should clear up your calibrating problems.  I
have found that most "bad" pots are just dirty.  It's alot easier to
clean them than replace them.
