Al Unser Jr. Arcade Racing for PC --- Opinions?

by Jeff Vince » Sat, 03 Feb 1996 04:00:00

Hi all.  I've been lurking for some time, but now I have a Q for
you all...

What's the scoop on this game?  I have heard *zero* mention of it
here, so I *assume* it's doggie do-do, but I figured I'd check with
the experts.  I prefer realistic IndyCar sims and have experience with
ICR1, ICR2, NASCAR, and F1GP1.  Would it amuse me at all?

   Thanks for any info...

P.S. - Hi to Jim D.,*** S., Mike D. and any other friends from the

The odd thing is that the box says that it runs on a Quadra 640 and above.
WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN? Is a Powerbook 520C above or below it?

You don't want Al Unser racing anyway, it's a piece of junk. Doesn't
even work with my Thrustmaster T2 wheel, even though the T2
successfully calibrates as a custom Win95 joystick. I picked up the
game on a whim because it was only $25 - and now I know why it's so
cheap. I'll be returning it anyway though, I don't need to contribute
money to rip-off efforts like thus.
