: I was told the same thing and was recommended TV Tuner Cleaner which
: you can buy in radio schack for about $ 8.00 bucks.... it's a spray
: can of solution that mirrors WD40, but it's NOT a lubricant, but a
: cleaner!
The problem with cleaning with isopropyl-*** is that it will dry out
the plastic parts and harden them. Thus shorting their life span.
The Radio Shack Tuner Cleaner IS a cleaner & lubricant:
"Cleans and lubricates tuners and controls... reduces wear - safe on
plastic."
