That was his point...he looked good today because he was able to get away
without anyone in front of him; if he's behind someone he'll just happily
wait for a pit stop...that's not anything impressive...
And why in the world would you want a Hakkinen vs Schumacher title chase?
All you ever see is after this race here are the points, never has anything
developed on track like with Schumacher vs Coulthard/Villeneuve/Hill.

Btw Hakk didn't capture fastest lap, so much for being fast as hell...

My god

It really nice to see Hakkinen go fast again.
As a Schumi-fan i would like to see the old Hakki-Schumi duel once again,
because Hakki can go fast as hell and schumacher drives like a devil.

Congrats to Hakkinen and thank you for the fair-play policy from Mercedes
(not having Coulthard win was a really grand move). Can't wait for the next
race.

Hankienen (note the hankie) is scared of Couthard. Thats why he didn't back
off when the pits said to, and also why he didn't understand, then didn't
hear, when asked that in the after race discussion. He's fine when out in
front with a gap to play with, but no good in a one on one fight, and no
good when in behind as he goes off the boil (too scared to fight and lose as
his rep is too important to him) He needs to be more professional.

You're correct, he had absolutely no competition.  Pretty exciting.

You're simply a moron.  Hakkinen is one of the best passers in F1.  He was
punted a couple of times last year in the first corner, and came back after
passing 15 or so cars.  Afraid of Coulthard ?  Check the head to head for
the last three years.  DC is just not as fast, period.  Even my 10 year old
has this figured out.  Also, he said he DID back off several hundred revs
when told to.... moron.

How about more poles, and two championships over two years as evidence of
speed.

Imagine that. I have just finished a extremely hard week-end at work,
watched the race on video and getting more than a little drunk on vine at 3
in the morning. Then I wrote this post and look at this. People calling each
other moron and what have you. Relax its a sport and is there for our
entertainment and nothing else. No need to get all worked up.
And if anybody can remember last year on A1 where Coulthard rammed Hakkinen,
which resulted in one of Hakkinens best races ever, where he was cutiing his
way up through the field, like it was made of butter. He might seem a
litltle dimwitted but he is fast. You don't get pole otherwise.
