It is amazing. I'm hopefully going to Amiens, where this guy lives, in
December. I might look him up :)

AMAZING!  A small scale 312 with all the working parts, including a V12
engine that makes the Ferrari sound!  IT ACTUALLY RUNS!

:)

This guy deserves something big for all his hard work.  Maybe Mr Ferrari
could give him a real one!

recognize the x.ram format. :-(

I wonder why that guy bothers to built a rather big model of the 312PB
sport prototype, instead of building a real size replica?
Space and resources does not seem to be the problem.

For the challenge, I guess.  It's small enough to be do-able, with a lot
of skill, but big enough to allow proper parts to be made, instead of some
of the less-than-elegant cludges a smaller model would require for
injection, ignition.  Still, he could have scaled it up a little more and
had one hell of a go-cart for his kids (assuming he had some time away
from his 20,000 hour obsession to make a kid).

Because he wanted an EXACT copy...not some fake replica.  Frankly, what
he has achieved is AWESOME, and I'd like to shake him by the had,
mention the words 250 GTO, and buy him a pint.
