ICR ][ Manual in the UK: same as the US one this time?

by Stuart Boo » Mon, 23 Oct 1995 04:00:00

I guess this is another question aimed at Mr Rick Genter. Hope that's
okay!  You may remember that the Nascar package shipped in the UK (and
elsewhere in Europe and beyond I believe) by *** I.E. came with a
VERY lame manual. VIE eventually sorted themselves out and I acquired
the correct Nascar manual several months ago.

What will the situation with the ICR ][ manual be like? The problem
was licensing issues or some such problemette before. Will this be
sorted out in advance of the UK/European release?

In fact, is there the likelihood of a delayed UK/European release as
happened with the Nascar Track Pack?

These are things that annoyed me a bit before. Any clues?! d8-))

Stuart.

Our intention is to use the same manual for the US and non-US releases.
We've tried to be careful to obtain worldwide licenses to the various
drivers and teams to avoid the problem we had with the NASCAR manual.

As far as a delay in the release for Europe goes, I don't think we are in
control of that. When we release, we ship it to ***. They determine
when product goes to various places.
