favourite ride. I have to drive it every day or so or I feel
fidgety... GPL is nice and all but it's so frustrating.
The learing curve for SCGT is very gentle IMO. I'm very
familiar with most of the tracks , in fact I've gotten away
from my old faves like Hockenheim and Laguna Seca and I'm trying
stuff like Road Atlanta and Lime Rock which are both fantastic.
The only problem I have is that I have extreme bias for the cars.
I run the #3 Porsche 911 for GTQ but this class tis too slow so
I don't run it too much.
I run the BMW M3 RWD version and the Saleen Mustang for GT3/2.
Sometimes I do the Vector as well. This is the perfect class.
I have most fun at GT3 on short tracks and GT2 on power circuits.
I run the Panoz GTR-1/Q9 and Callaway C12 for GT1. I find GT1 cars
just run out of 'playing area' except on the big power circuits
like Sebring. And what is the difference between Sebring and
Sebring Oktoberfest? Onto Le Mans for SCGT...
I'm having a hard time with the other cars. For some reason
I find them much harder to drive than the front engined cars.
Except for the Vector which seems very sweet.
Can't get competitive with the Porsche RSR/GT3/GT2/GT1. Or the
superclass big Mac's or GTR-CLK's.
Has ISI actually modelled the *** handling characteristics of
rear/mid engined cards? They seems much less stable than the front
engined cars. Maybe it's just the way I drive...
BTW. I haven't looked at any 3rd party cars yet. I'm planning to
waste my X'Mas holidays with the massive amounts of d/lled cars.
Does this affect manifest itself in the 3rd party cars?
