I'm not encouraged by the recent lack of results.
Particularly from Division 1 with one driver falling away.
I want guys who, ideally, are going to commit.
...and who'll complete the races. I'm doing one with Mike Grey...and I
sent his turn to him well over a week ago.
...I'm afraid I am beginning to feel that the league is reflecting
poorly on the DPMRA's image.
A call for our marketing department to assemble themselves and get this
association great once more is urgently required.
I've been thinking about an e-mail based F1 championship where 14 teams
of 2 complete 16 100% races over a year by racing each other as team-
mates. It is probably too late to organise something for 1998 which is
why that this year the computer simulants have made a return and an AI
based Championship Season is underway.
The emphasis needs to be on the team and the drivers within that team
being comitted. Do you think we could get Randy Harris to inco-operate
this idea into the ACE division of his league?
This would effectively enable team-mates in the GP2RL to complete 100%
Single Player Races over a Multiplayer based race. Preventing boredom
and cutting their race time in half.
I have yet to remodify my site.
So...what do you think...we could probably carry on with the e-mail
championship...
All I want is for 26 drivers to go out and win for themselves and their
team every other Sunday afternoon.
That's probably too much to ask of all those GP2 nuts out there.
Or is it?
Does my friend Ben Welch know the answer?
