No the reason that everyone is getting so tired of all the stupid postings
by Billy Yanno and the rest of the pre-school gang is because their postings
are ruining the great friendly atmosphere that once used to be r.a.s.
My idea of a fun r.a.s. is to come in and find out how to improve my lap
times, maybe find out what the next Papyrus game is going to be, not to come
on and see a bunch of fake postings and threads where people are calling
each other fags and ***s. Sorry to be plain about it but that is alot of
what has been going on here lately.
Also the fake posts by these people have been directed at some of the
online representatives of the companies that produce the sims, constructive
criticism is one thing, but to flame and especially post fake information
trying to make it appear as if the post came from one of these people not only
hurts the readers of r.a.s. but also makes it so less representatives will
bother to take the time and patience to come hang out on r.a.s. in the future.
They really won't care much about what we have to say, nor about pleasing
the diehard fans. The demise of the U.K. Pits is a good recent example of this.
So, while you may choose to laugh at these things and consider them humourous
you must also realize that not everyone will be so light hearted about it.
And some people may even get their feelings hurt.
Personally I am not willing to ruin my "fun" of reading r.a.s. because some
childish idiot has a bit too much time on their hands and a free internet
account, so my killfile will continue to grow as more idiots make themselves
visible, and at least that will be a way to filter out the majority of them.
