I have a copy of the nasnit.zip utility to run night races at
any Nascar track, you'll need a hex editor to modify a couple lines
in the nascar.exe.  Leave me an email if intrested.

They only appear in the championship season. If I recall, someone has a
palette tweaking program that allows you to run any race at night. You can
also do this by tweaking the flag in the calendar file for the championship
season.

Here is the text file from nasnite.zip.......................

          Nighttime for NASCAR
          ====================
Wana do a little night time NASCAR drivin'?

You will need a hex editor such as Diskedit
from the Norton Utilities.

First COPY the file NASCAR.EXE to NASNIGHT.EXE.

Then with your hex editor search for and change
the two text strings that both say sunny.pcx to
night.pcx in the newly created file (NAS-NITE.EXE).

Lastly copy the enclosed file NIGHT.PCX to all of
your TRACKS subdirectories except for BRISTOL (the
BRISTOL.DAT file already has the data in it).

Fire up NASCAR by typing NASNIGHT <enter> and
prepare for those cool nighttime breezes!

  Hello:
Since I am new to NASCAR, I wasn't following the thread about night races a
while back.  The technique described above seems to work, but I don't have
the NIGHT.PCX file.  Does anyone know where I might get this file, or the
nasnite.zip file?  Any help would be appreciated. TIA
Tom
