F1CS 2000-Audio Stuttering

Having just bought this game, thank you to everyone here today who has
helped me patch/enhance this game. I only have one other problem, and that
is the game stuttering when I receive
in-cockpit communications (I have no other problems with stuttering,
graphically).

Is there something I can do to resolve this?

For information I have an Athlon 1.4, Hercules Gforce 2 Ultra (64mb), SB
Live card and 512 mb ram. I have tried turning audio to low quality setting
but to no avail.

Thanks

PJ

What motherboard do you have? Some motherboards with VIA chipsets have
problems with SB Live! sound cards. The latest VIA 4-in-1 drivers
might fix it.

Another thing you might want to try is to turn off Legacy Sound Blaster
support.  You only need this if you are playing DOS games, it is a
useless feature in Windows.  Do this by going into the Device Manager
and disabling that feature.  That frees up an interrupt, which sometimes
resolves such problems.
