"Bumps" in N2?

I've noticed my car lurching sideways at certain spots at most of the
tracks.  Is this a simulation of a bumpy track?  It's a real bear at Tally

any way to turn this off?

Also, has anyone seen a #95 David Green car anywhere?

Thank you!

Sounds like you could have a flaky potentiometer in your joystick. (Go
to the calibration screen, move it to full range, and then SLOWLY move
it within that range, if it ever abruptly jerks to an extreme, the
results will be VERY bad while driving.) The other test (painful
though it may be) is to drive with the keyboard and see if it repeats
the same problem...

It's a fairly common hardware problem, particularly as the pots get
used a lot... They pretty much just wear out...

If it's not that, make sure steering help is turned OFF, and if you
are using "wheel", try using "joystick" (it will still work, it just
makes the controller a little less sensitive.

Sounds kind of like the problem that I was having, but found it was the
steering potentiometer was dirty (2 year old T1).  Go to Adavnce Auto and
get a spray can of electrical contact cleaner and spray it into the pot,
work the wheel back and forth, let it dry and you should have eliminated
the "bumps".  You could also replace the pot, but then there's
soldering... .  Worked for me, hope it will for you.
While you're at it, hit those pedal pots too.

Make sure you are very careful what cleaner you use.  I used to race RC
cars and we bought some cleaner for the pots and promtly melted the
plastic.  It should say on the can if it's safe for plastics but either
way test it first.  Please!!!!
