Well, I haven't had it happen to an AI car, but I sure have had it happen to
ME... I turned a 1:21.504 sec lap at Australia the other day, which is about
7 seconds faster than the world internet record, simply by being teleported
from the exit of turn6 to the exit of turn 12 in the space of ONE frame in
the replay (ie < 1/15th sec). I bounced all over (damage off) and got stuck
in the wall for a while and STILL beat the world record by 6+ seconds!
I've also had a similar problem at Long Beach, where I got teleported from
somewhere about halfway down the front straight to a couple of feet from
the end - where I landed at full speed, around 155mph. I crashed and spun
something like six times!
