Help with motoracer.

I am trying to run MotoRacer on my computer.
I'm running a Pentium II 300 with 128 megs of
ram. My graphics card is a 12 meg voodoo 2.
The game wont let me run in direct 3d. It says that
it is not detected in the game menu.
I've run this same version of motoracer with my old video
card, which was a voodoo 1.

I've already loaded loaded a patch form the motoracer website,
but it still wont run the super nice 3d mode. I also have the most
current drivers from diamond.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I
would love to play this ***ing game again.
