Andover (UK) 'Karting For Fun' - Not many recomendations here...

Just had a race meet at Andover 'Karting for Fun'. Just thought I'd let
you all know it's not that great!

28 for 4 heats, of 4 laps! That 16 laps or racing! You start in a
different grid slot each time so you don't start in all the slots! Every
other race I've done you have 6 heats, so you start in all the grid
slots....

The final was then 10 laps.. Top 8 drivers. Gives you a total of 26 laps
of racing.. That's over a 1 a lap! if your in the final...

Add to that the fact that most of them couldn't drive so most of the
session was under yellow flags, you get even less racing laps..

If you going to go I don't recomend a race meet.. Try a practice session,
I don't know what it would be like.

Quick track, but too many hairpins..

Oh well back to Premier Karting in Woodley for me...... Or GPL, with the
amount I have spend on computer hardware for it I'd better get my money's
worth!

I don't know if you've heard, and I've no idea what its like, but there is a
kart track opening at Thruxton at the start of October.
