I recently bought the original Indycar on CD and after looking in the
book for the specified word every time I loaded it for a couple of days,
I just pressed <return>. Turns out this works fine - it seems they
disabled the copy protection but couldn't be bothered to tell us about
it. (This is the budget UK version)

Incidentally could anyone tell me how easy it should be to compete with
the CCs at 100% level on the keyboard  - currently I'm easily fastest in
some races and hopelessly slow in others.

ED...
If you can find a copy of NEVERLOCK..or any other PASSWORD DISABLING
program..it will rewrite INDYCAR.exe so it will no require a password
any longer.

NEVERLOCK also works with the original INDY 500 too.
